Rochelle

Rochelle

Hospital Administrator

Rochelle Walker has been part of the Brentwood Family Pet Care team since 2006. She moved to California in 2005 to spend more time with her niece and nephew. In 2008, she met her future husband. ‘I really enjoy working with the team here and the pets are a wonderful plus,’ she says. ‘I don’t actually take care of the pets that come in, but I take care of the people that take care of them. I work behind the scenes, making sure the lights stay on and the bills get paid. It’s a great perk to be able to step into the treatment room and play with a kitten or puppy that has come in.’ She is shown here with one of her 3 cats: Sassy Pants.

Melissa

I have been in the veterinary field since 2008 (BFPC since 2013) and I enjoy every minute! It’s a very hard and rewarding career, both physically and mentally. I really love being able to help those without a voice.

Kylie

Lauri

Lauri

Patient Care Specialist

I’ve been with BFPC since 2014. I love being a veterinary technician because I get to come to work every day and know that I will be making a difference in somebody’s life that day. My clients know that I will be there for them and their pets any time that they need me. My commitment to my patients is to give them the best care possible and to treat them like they are my own. Outside of work, I enjoy my time with my children and grandchildren.

Sierra

Sierra

Patient Care Specialist, RVT

After graduating high school, I joined the military and became a United States Marine. I was stationed in San Diego, CA for 3 years. There I met my husband and we got two Labrador retrievers named Jax and Harlow. After he and I were both discharged we moved here to the Bay Area, where I pursued my credentials to be a veterinary technician. We have expanded our two-legged family and have two beautiful children. We love being outdoors; we go camping and hiking as much as we can! I have been a member of the BFPC family since January 2016 and every day at work is always a new adventure! Loving and caring for all the patients that visit us here is the best part of every day.

Rylie

Rylie

Client Service Coordinator

In 2016 I had the opportunity to start working at BFPC. At the time, I had no idea of all of the friendships that would come from that decision. The two shorties in the picture with me are Kurtis and Maci. They are both Cardigan Welsh Corgis, one of my favorite breeds. I am a farm girl, so I have had, and still have a countless number of animals. I am currently a part-time student at Los Medanos College and plan to graduate with my Associate’s degree in Business Management.

Val

Val

Patient Care Specialist

I have been working at BFPC since 2017.  For over 30 years, I have enjoyed reigning-style horse riding, being a trainer, a groomer, and a vet assistant. Spending time with pet owners and discussing grooming and obedience tips for their pets beings me a lot of joy. I married a wonderful and caring man in September of 2017 and love spending time with our two sons- (my son and his) and our newest family member, Reno!  Reno, our Rottweiler pup, brings us laughter and keeps us on our toes! He is my off-road Jeep buddy and I love taking him everywhere.

Chris

Chris

Patient Care Specialist

I have been involved in working with animals in one capacity or another since my teenage years, often volunteering at animal shelters and local animal events. After working in the human medical industry for 13 years, I decided to pursue my passion of working with animals on a full-time basis. I have been with BFPC since the beginning of 2018. I wake up excited to go to work every day to see our amazing patients and their caring owners. I continue to volunteer at shelters and community events when time allows. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 2 children. I have 3 dogs; Jemiah, Cooper, and Sasha, whom I love with all my heart, and Kevin, a beta fish, that I talk to when getting ready every morning.

Kayla

I’ve been with BFPC since 2018. I’ve always loved animals from an early age; so much so that I completed a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at UC Davis. After I completed my degree, I followed through with coursework to become a credentialed veterinary technician. I am very happy working in my dream career! Outside of work, I spend time with my own animals – 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits. I also enjoy hanging out with my family and friends!

I have two fur babies: Mac is my bully and Roo is the Yorkie. My long-time boyfriend and I love to hike and be outdoors. Family is important to me and I am so glad that BFPC welcomed me into theirs.

Susan

Susan

Administrative Assistant

Susan has been working with BFPC as a bookkeeper since 2019. She said she loves coming to work every day because she works with a great team and she loves seeing all the adorable pets that visit here!  She has lived in the area for a long time and has seen Brentwood change from the tiny farm town it used to be (no fast food or major grocery stores) to the booming, family-oriented city it is now.  She doesn’t have any pets right now, but growing up her dad had hunting dogs (Brittany spaniel and 2 black labs). She had cats growing up. Her last cat (Muffin) lived to be 19 and Hurricane Alex lived to be 18. She looks forward to having another cat someday.

Heather

Heather

Client Care Specialist, RVT

I enjoy helping pets and their humans. I began working with BFPC during my school externship in 2019 and successfully passed the national exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2020, fulfilling one of many dreams! My best friend is the love of my life and we have been inseparable since 2006. We both enjoy walking on trails and being outdoors with our young son and our pit bulls. I look forward to a rewarding life path as a vet tech and helping the pets and families of BFPC.

Andrea

Andrea

Client Care Specialist

My name is Andrea and I started as a client here at BFPC and then began working here in May 2020. I wanted to work here because of the great family atmosphere and seeing how everyone truly loves the client’s pets.

Pets have been a huge part of my life growing up. My love for animals is beyond this world – that is how I ended up with 9 dogs (3 pugs-Pablo, Vader & Julio and 6 Chihuahuas-Cali, Bentley, Lilly, Chubs, Bambi & Taquito) and 1 red hen (Terresa). I could not imagine life without a fur baby or two.

During my spare time, and when the weather is nice, I love to head outdoors with my dogs and explore trails or lay outside reading a good book. But also, we cannot forget a good Target run when the weather is ugly.

Arianna

Arianna

Patient Care Specialist

Arianna started work at BFPC in 2020 but has been a technician for nearly 5 years. She enjoys swimming and traveling with friends and family, and cuddling with Milo.

Kobe

Kobe

Lead Kennel Technician

My ultimate goal is to become a licensed Veterinarian. My love and passion for helping animals in need really drove me to get into the industry.  I want to make a difference in the field for as long as I can, one step at a time. I see veterinary medicine as an opportunity to make a difference in the world one dog or cat at a time.

Right now, we have 3 dogs: one Labradoodle named Bless (pictured) and two Miniature Schnauzers named Chief and Keef; two tortoises: Hoku and Hinu; one Mississippi Map turtle named Forrest.

I enjoy spending time with my family in my spare time.  I also like to make art:  digital, portraits, or drawings. Beyond those, I like to stay fit, so I exercise constantly

Janaye

Janaye

RVT, Patient Care Specialist

I have two pets, a Yorkie named Tyson and a Maine Coon named Frankie. I got started in veterinary medicine because I used to be in 4H and FFA and I loved learning and being around all of the animals. What I love about it now is knowing I am helping a furry member of someone’s family. When I’m not working I like to spend time with my family and fiancé.

Madi

Madi

Client Care Specialist

My name is Madi. I started working at BFPC at the end of 2020. I’ve always had a huge love for animals so getting to work with them every day is amazing. My future goal is to continue to work with animals and become a vet tech. I have a Cane Corso and her name is Nori. On my free time I love to hang out with my family and friends, ride dirt bikes, go on the boat, and hangout with my dog.

Serena

Serena

Kennel Assistant

Serena will tell you it was her love for animals that led her to work in the veterinary field. She’s always wanted to be able to help them in any way she can. When she started working with us in the spring of 2021, she had no pets, but would like to own a Pittbull or a black Lab because they’re both so cute! In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her friends and boyfriend playing video games, or, in the summertime, going on the boat.
